What kind of sweetener is used?

We do not use high fructose corn syrup in our products. Rather, we use evaporated cane juice, also known as naturally milled sugar or organic cane sugar, which is a form of a less processed, less refined, and more environmentally friendly product.

Are there preservatives or artificial flavors and colors in this product?

We have taken special care so that Elix contains no artificial flavoring, no artificial coloring, no preservatives, no caffeine, no sodium, no fat, no cholesterol, no sodium benzoate, no propylene glycol, no MSG, no high fructose corn syrup, and no animal products.

Any health guidelines for consumers with specific conditions?

As a general measure of good health practice, pregnant or lactating women, infants and young children, diabetics, and individuals with chronic conditions should consult a healthcare professional before consuming Elix. How often can I take Elix?

The recommended use for Elix is to consume one to two bottles per day. The exception is Elix Sleep with Melatonin, where only one bottle should be taken before bedtime.

Can Echinacea be consumed daily?

There are varying opinions in the natural products community regarding the optimal regimen for the use of Echinacea. It is believed by some that Echinacea is most effective when consumed intermittently. Elix Strength and Elix Cold/Flu with Echinacea are recommended to be taken daily for a maximum of eight weeks, followed by a two week break.

How many calories are in Elix?

Each Elix product has 40 to 60 calories, compared to 140 for a can of Coke, 200 for a bottle of Snapple Iced Tea, and 80 for a medium size apple (with skin).
